Artists’ Camps Capture the Wilds UPDATENOTE TO MEDIA: Fundamental of Drawing, on September 24–26 has been canceled. Registration is still open for Photography Weekends, September 10-12 and October 8-10. CUMBERLAND, Ohio – The Wilds, one of the largest conservation centers in the world, is offering three weekends of Art Camp, to provide instructional workshops that give artists the opportunity to learn and practice techniques. Fundamentals of Drawing, on September 24-26, allow artists to understand the elements of design when portraying wildlife. Artists will board a safari vehicle to search for Asian rhinos, African antelope and African wild dogs. Photography Weekends, on September 10-12 and October 8-10, allow photographers to become experts out in the field. The Wilds offers ample visual moments amid spectacular scenery. These events, designed for photographers 18 years and older, are $299 per person which includes lodging, meals, and expert instruction. Drawing sessions will be facilitated by renowned artist A.E. London and photo sessions by Jerry Jividen and Barbara Jividen of Naturally Wild Photo Adventures. Reservations and pre-payment are required.
