Few destinations can offer your group the blend of adventure and comfort that a visit to the Wilds provides. The Wilds' staff is ready to assist with all parts of your stay to help ensure an enjoyable visit.
Our staff specializes in creating itineraries tailored to fit your group's needs. From a couple of hours to a full day, from lunch for 20 to a hot buffet for 100, we can help you design an exciting outing. We can also provide assistance in adding visits to other area destinations or obtaining overnight lodging in the area.
Groups are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Call early to get your desired date. All groups must schedule at least 10 working days in advance of their visit. Please allow a minimum of 2 1/2 hours for your experience at the Wilds.

NOTE TO SCHOOLS and YOUTH GROUPS: In addition to the School Safari tour detailed below, please see our Education & Camps section for more school and youth group options, including curriculum-oriented programs and overnight camps.
Safari Transport Pass
Join our other guests aboard an air-conditioned safari transport for
a guided safari through all of the open range animal pastures. You can
also visit any or all of the following destination
stops: Lake Trail,
the new Mid-Sized Carnivore Conservation
Center, Wetland Trail and the Outpost. Transports leave the Johnson
Visitor Center every 10 minutes, and run continuously between all of
the destination stops. Your final destination will be the Overlook,
where we can provide a meal for your group from one of our signature
catering menu options, then wrap-up
with a visit to our Gift Market.
Minimum of 20 paid guests required.
Group leader is responsible keeping their group on-schedule.
Available only during regular operating
hours.

Step-On Safari
A step-on interpretive guide will board your group's vehicle for a
guided safari through all of the open range animal pastures (approximately
70 minutes). You can also visit any or all of the following destination
stops (add approximately 30 minutes per stop): Lake Trail, the new Mid-Sized
Carnivore Conservation Center, Wetland Trail and the Outpost. Your
final destination will be the Overlook, where we can provide a meal
for your group from one of our signature catering
menu options, then wrap-up with a visit to our Gift Market.
Minimum of 20 paid guests required.
Group leader is responsible keeping their group on-schedule.
Available any day of the week.

Open Air Safari
Board one of the Wilds' unique Open Air Safari vehicles for an interpretative
guided safari through all of the open range animal pastures, and visit
the Lake
Trail and our new Mid-Sized
Carnivore Conservation Center. Your final destination will be the
Overlook, where we can provide a meal for your group from one of our
signature catering menu options, then
wrap-up with a visit to our Gift Market.
Minimum of 20 paid guests required.

Available only on days that we are closed to the general public

Private Safari
Board one of the Wilds' air-conditioned safari transports for a guided

School Safari
Our staff can customize an itinerary to meet the needs of your school, home school, student/education organization or club. Take a guided safari through all of our open range animal areas where you will get to see and learn about some of the rare and endangered animals from around the world. You can also visit any or all of the following destination stops: Lake Trail, our new Mid-Sized Carnivore Conservation Center, Wetland Trail and Outpost. Your final destination will be the Overlook, where we can provide a meal for your group from one of our signature catering menu options, then wrap-up with a visit to our Gift Market. For your convenience we also offer $3, $5, and $10 gift packages an alternative to shopping at the Gift Market; ask for details.
- Students grade 12 and under: $7
- Adults: $17
- One adult chaperone per 8 children will be admitted free.
Sunset Safari
A magical evening beginning with a buffet dinner on the deck of the
Overlook Café. After dinner, you will board one of the Wilds' unique
Open Air (weather permitting) Safari vehicles for a twilight tour of
our open range animal areas, including stops at our new Mid-Sized
Carnivore Conservation Center and the Rhino Management Center.
Minimum of 30 people required.
