Arrive a bit early to find parking in the complimentary Overlook parking lot and check in for your tour.
11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. — Carnivore Conservation Tour
Kick off the day at the Carnivore Center, where you'll meet cheetahs, African painted dogs, and dholes. Learn from The Wilds' Conservation Education team about these powerful predators, their habitats, and The Wilds’ conservation work to protect them. This outdoor tour offers an exhilarating introduction to The Wilds' carnivore conservation efforts.
12:30 p.m. – 1 p.m. — Lunch at Johnson Center
Enjoy a quick lunch at the Johnson Center, with panoramic views of The Wilds’ scenic landscapes. Please note that lunch costs are not included.
1 p.m. – 2 p.m. — Rhino Barn Tour
Wrap up the day with a "Wow!" moment as you step into the heated rhino barns. Meet the impressive rhino herd, including six calves turning one year old this winter! Learn about the lives of these majestic creatures, their conservation needs, and ways you can help from home. This exclusive tour is a memorable, close encounter with one of the world’s most magnificent animals.
2:30 p.m. — Departure
Conclude your winter getaway at the Overlook with memories and photos of Ohio’s wildest winter experience!
