Our Career Day Program allows your school or youth group to learn more about wild careers! Join our Conservation Education team for a fun-filled day as you meet different staff at The Wilds and learn about the amazing conservation work they do at The Wilds! This program includes a behind-the-scenes tour of our Hellbender Conservation Center, Pasture Tour, and a panel discussion with staff from across The Wilds.

Cost: $35 per participant (Adults and students). The full cost due two weeks prior to the program.
Ages: 6th - 12th Grade.
Group Size: 12 person minimum. Maximum of 42 participants.
Minimum Booking time: Three weeks from the start of the program
Food: Attendees will need to bring their own lunch.
Our Scout programs allow scouts to experience The Wilds' many diverse ecosystems and outdoor recreation. Join our Conservation Education team for a fun-filled day as you learn about the amazing conservation work being done for exotic and native species right here in Southeast Ohio!
Each workshop is tailored around a badge, rank, or award based on the age and rank of the scout. We offer a variety of badge and award options that scouts can work on through a three-hour hands-on workshop. Besides working on their badge and award, all Cub Scout Programs include a pasture tour!
The Wilds offers both Cub Scout and Girl Scout programs.
Cub Scouts
- Available badge programs for Wolf Rank: Paws on the Path and a Wolf Goes Fishing.
- Available badge programs for Bear Rank: Bear Habitat, A Bear Goes Fishing, Critter Care, and Bears Afloat.
Available badge programs for Webelos Rank include: Walkabout Webelos, Catch the Big One, and Champions for Nature.

COST: $80 per participant (adult and scouts) with $80 deposit upon booking. Full cost due two weeks prior to the program.

Our DayVentures School Day Program allows your school group to experience The Wilds' many diverse ecosystems and outdoor recreation. Join our Conservation Education team for a fun-filled day as you learn about the amazing conservation work being done for exotic and native species right here in Southeast Ohio! A typical DayVentures trip includes a pasture tour, canoeing, and wilderness survival.

- $30 per participant (Adults and students) in Muskingum, Morgan, Guernsey, and Noble Counties.
- $40 per participant for other counties and out of state.
Full cost due two weeks prior to the program.
AGES: 2nd - 12th Grade.
GROUP SIZE: 15 person minimum. Maximum of 42 participants.
MINIMUM BOOKING TIME: Three weeks out
FOOD: Guests will either need to bring their own lunch or pay ahead of time for food at The Wilds.
Girl Scouts
- Available badge programs for Brownies: Hiker, EcoFriend, and Bugs.
- Available badge programs for Juniors: Flowers, Design with Nature, Animal Habitats (award), Eco Camper (award).
- Available badge programs for Cadettes: EcoTrekker, Night Owl (badge and award), Trees, Archery, Think like a Citizen Scientist (award).

Come spend a night out in The Wilds! Our overnight program is great for any school or scout group looking to have an educational adventure and truly unique experience. Join our Conservation Education team for a fun-filled night as you learn about the amazing conservation work being done for exotic and native species right here in Southeast Ohio!

Availability April 1 - October 31 Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 6:30 p.m. - 12:00 p.m. the next day
COST: $100 per participant (adult and youth) with $200 deposit upon booking. Full cost due two weeks prior to the program.
AGES: 5 years and older.
GROUP SIZE: 15 person minimum (or $1,500.00). Maximum of 42 participants.
MINIMUM BOOKING TIME: Three weeks out
SCOUT BADGE ADD-ON: $10.00 per youth participant
FOOD: S’mores and continental breakfast included.
