Come celebrate International Salamander Saturday at The Wilds!

Let's bring awareness to the issues salamanders face and the conservation efforts happening around the globe thanks to organizations like the Foundation for the Conservation of Salamanders. 

Here at The Wilds, we help conserve salamanders through our Eastern hellbender head-start program, and we also create and maintain salamander habitat and monitor our forests and vernal pools for native salamanders!

On Salamander Saturday at The Wilds, you can enjoy:

• Fun activities at the Kids Discovery Field Station all day
• A 30-minute behind-the-scenes tour of our Hellbender Center 
• A one-hour salamander outdoor hike with The Wilds' team
