With 75 acres of fun and relaxation, the Hellbender RV Campground at The Wilds is set to welcome visitors this summer, offering a unique and immersive stay in the heart of Ohio's breathtaking wildlife preserve.

The Hellbender RV Campground will be located at the intersection of State Route 146 and Zion Ridge Road near The Wilds.
The campground and The Wilds are located within a beautiful yet rural part of southeastern Ohio. These resources are available to help plan your travel.

So, what's a hellbender?
Hellbenders were once found across fast-flowing streams in the Eastern United States but have disappeared from most of their range due to disease, pollution, and habitat loss from agriculture, mining, and logging operations.
The Wilds and the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium have partnered with the Ohio Division of Wildlife for more than a decade to raise and release young hellbenders into stream habitats, where environmental conditions have improved enough to support them!
